Learn more about acrylics

Acrylic is available in cast or extruded sheet in a wide range of thicknesses, colours, finishes and special effects. Designers also work with acrylic in a polymer or liquid resin form. 
Its outstanding technical performance properties include:
  • Exceptional light transmission: cast acrylic sheet transmits 92% of all visible light. No other product offers better light transmission!
  • Lightweight; half the weight of an equivalent panel of glass panel
  • Excellent resistance to outdoor weathering, in particular UV resistant
  • High tensile strength, rigidity, and durability
  • Good impact resistance
  • Easy to thermoform, cut, drill, polish, groove, engrave and fabricate
  • Easy to clean
